Book Report:Alexis McDougal starring in:

“The Day I Met My New Special Friend”

Alexis:  Alexis McDougal is the main character in this story.  She will find a new best friend named Gabrielle. But there is a special something about Gabrielle.

Chelsea:  Chelsea is Alexis’s old friend and did you notice I said old best friend?  Chelsea met another girl to play with and Alexis takes it the wrong way.

Gabrielle:  Gabrielle is really a bird.  Wow, I know you didn’t see that coming.  Alexis meets her after she’s mad at Chelsea.

The Setting:  The setting is mostly at Alexis’s school with all her friends.

The Plot:  The plot is Alexis is finally going to 3rd grade, but there is a little problem.  She thinks Chelsea is not her friend.  But after a while she finds a new friend.

My Opinion:  Is that this story is great because of the diversity and the word choice that makes the story fun and interesting.  I also got the book signed by the author.
